Carnoista is useful and easy to use app for car owners to do faster regularly car inspections/checkups by recording car's engine noise and comparing to reference (your previously recorded car noise) and checking results if noise changes overtime. If comparison results are same then everything is okay, nothing changed with car, but if results are not same so it means something changed or broke in your car and it makes different noise than usually, so should inspect your car if everything is okay or not, if you cannot inspect yourself always go to car mechanic for the professional inspection. Install the app and record your car's noise now and save it as reference (standard). After several days, one week, month (depends on how much you drive) repeat recording and compare with your saved reference. Launching app for the first time the app will guide you all steps which mentioned below.

How to use:
# Press [My Cars] and create new car, fill in all needed info and click save and go back to main screen. In main screen at the top select created car from list.
# Press [Record] and press on button with wanted recording place name (front, under hood or rear, close to the muffler). When you press button, the app will start recording immediately.
# Wait ~20 sec until it stops recording.
# Check results, if you are recording first time with car or in place you cannot compare result with reference because there is not reference. So, for now, save it by pressing [Save as reference].
# When you will record for second time, you will see the window with reference selection, select wanted reference and view comparison results.
If comparison results are same, it will show you green equal sign, if not same, will show red not equal sign.

In the app you have unlimited number of the saved references and maximum of two added cars (unlimited number of cars in Plus mode). To delete unnecessary car or reference press and hold on it and in pop out window press delete (the data deletion is permanently after deletion you cannot restore data). To edit added car press on wanted car.
Added car information does not need to be your car's real information. Car name helps you to better identify your car. The more frequently you check your car's making noise the more quickly you will find the parts which require repair and will be cheaper when finding later that some parts broke and you need buy new parts.

For the best accuracy it is recommended to record noise under hood which will reduce environment noises (like birds,driving cars noises, speaking people, rain, etc.). It is not recommended to use app and your smartphone when you are driving. Be careful and do not touch or put smartphone in hot places like inside muffler, on engine, etc.
Plus mode gives you to add unlimited number of cars, add detailed information about car (car marker, model, year, license plate) and ability to add 5 sec delay before recording.

The app needs permission to record audio, so that you could be able to record your car's making noise and check comparison results. All the data (saved cars and references) are stored locally in your device.
The app data is advisory in nature, so we are not responsible for the loss incurred because of the decisions and actions you have taken.
